For an international person finding an employment position can be difficult due to differences in interview styles between a U.S. interview and an interview in a student's home country.  It is important to be aware of American interview etiquette and procedure.  Making a good impression on the interviewer is as important as demonstrating your experience and skills.

Another factor which makes it difficult for international students to obtain work is that they appear not have good communication skills, due to their lack of proficiency in English.
